	Research The PANA committee, with the help of the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN) and the support of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, administered two surveys to supervisors of special education programs and service providers. The second survey asked educational service providers in the field of visual impairment - teachers of students with visual impairments and orientation and mobility specialists. The survey asked demographic and employment information, general and specific caseload perspectives, and challenges as well as professional development preferences.
